Here are all the latest TV ratings for Saturday night's shows, and they make for grim reading.

The hot weather is sure to have had an impact on numbers with a night of super low ratings.

Yesterday evening saw the latest episode of a new series of Blind Date, with the hit dating show having made a comeback last month a decade after it was last on air.

Now airing on Channel 5 and hosted by Paul O'Grady, the show averaged 1 million viewers at a later time of 8PM, down 200,000 viewers on last weekend and 800,000 down on the launch episode.

At 7:30PM, ITV and BBC One went head to head again with their rival singing shows.

Pitch Battle continued well behind its competitor as it fell to another new low of just 1.6 million viewers, dropping 100,000 on last weekend's previous series low.

The Voice Kids on the other hand averaged 2.9 million viewers on ITV for its first round of battles, this was down a million viewers week-on-week and a series low for the new spin-off show. The battle rounds continue this evening (Sunday) on ITV.

Meanwhile, on BBC One Pointless Celebrities had 2.2 million viewers, dropping over a million viewers on last Saturday. Casualty continued with 3.8 million to make it the most watched show of the night, albeit down 300,000 viewers on last week.

Finally, over on Channel 5, the latest episode of Big Brother continued with its now typical figure of 800,000 watching Saturday night's highlights, level with last week.
