It could be Holly and Dec on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here this year after Ant checked into rehab.

News broke last month that that TV favourite Ant McPartlin had checked himself into a rehab facility for 'drink and drugs problems'.

The Daily Mail reported that bosses at ITV have offered Ant a year off work to help his recovery.

A spokesperson for ITV said: "We are sending Ant our very best wishes for a speedy recovery and, of course, he has our full support."

Although it's a long way off, plans are being put in place for I'm A Celebrity should Ant choose not to host the next series alongside Dec.

“I’m a Celeb is ITV’s biggest show of the year so they’re keen to get a plan in place should Ant want to continue his down time," a source said this weekend.

They told the Daily Star on Sunday: “Holly is the number one choice, she’s the nation’s favourite and already a huge fan of the show – the perfect Jane of the jungle to Dec’s Tarzan!

“Building on-screen chemistry and relationships is what Holly does best, which is perfect for the jungle.”

Another option is said to be Love Island and former I'm A Celeb spin-off host Caroline Flack.

Speaking in June, Ant told how depression led to addictions to prescription drugs and substance and alcohol abuse.

"The first step is to admit to yourself you need help," he said. “I’ve let people down. I’m truly sorry."

Ant, who hosts I'm A Celebrity and Britain's Got Talent, told The Sun newspaper: “I feel like I have let a lot of people down and for that I’m truly sorry.

“I want to thank my wife, family and closest friends through this really difficult time.

He added to The Sun: "I have spoken out because I think it is important that people ask for help if they are going through a rough time and get the proper treatment to help their recovery."
