Latest Big Brother 2017 news and gossip

Here's your Saturday morning update with all the latest Big Brother 2017 news.

It was Joe Quaranta who left in last night's Big Brother 2017 results, the fifth eviction of the series.

Joe faced the latest public vote against Tom Barber and Charlotte Keys and it was a vote to evict.

He had been the favourite to go so it wasn't much of a surprise when Joe left, exiting the house to boos from the live audience who had been chanting 'GET JOE OUT' all night.

In the house, the group were left surprisingly emotional by Joe's exit with Deborah and Hannah particularly upset.

Elsewhere in the house yesterday, Ellie ruled out going further than kissing Sam on camera, telling Charlotte: "I could put a million pound on that I would not do anything else in this house."

Meanwhile, following Joe's departure, Big Brother host Emma Willis announced that TWO housemates will be leaving in a double eviction next Friday night.

And in a further twist sure to shake up the house, the housemates' friends and family will join the Big Brother house next week.

They'll appear as part of a task in which housemates will face a super tough decision.

Speaking at the end of tonight's live eviction show, host Emma Willis teased that they would have to decide between winning a luxury shopping budget or spending time with their loved ones.

One of those set to enter is Tom Barber's girlfriend Paris, which could prove super awkward after it was reported recently that Tom had been dumped by her, at least according to her sister Lateysha Grace.

Finally for today, according to reports, the Big Brother 2017 final date has been pencilled in on Thursday, July 27.

If true it would make the series 53 days long, just slightly longer than last year's shortest ever series which ran for 50 days.

However the final date hasn't been officially confirmed just yet, with potential scheduling issues after rumours that Love Island will extend its run for another week.

For now, Big Brother 2017 continues Saturday night at 9PM on Channel 5.
