Big Brother 2017 will see a double eviction next Friday night, it's been claimed.

It was Joe Quaranta who left in tonight's Big Brother 2017 results, the fifth eviction of the series.

After a twisted round of nominations over the weekend, a trio of contestants are up for the axe this evening.

Joe faced the latest public vote against Tom Barber and Charlotte Keys and it was a vote to evict.

Joe had been the favourite to go so it wasn't much of a surprise when he left, exiting the house to boos from the live audience who had been chanting 'GET JOE OUT' all night.

Following Joe's departure, Big Brother host Emma Willis announced that TWO housemates will be leaving next Friday night.

It's not yet been announced how the double eviction will work, with some speculation it could see one 'original' housemate and one 'second chance housemate' go.

Four new-ish housemates joined the house just less week, halfway through the series.

Andrew Cruickshanks, Simone Reed and Sue Evans were originally at the launch night where they faced a public vote to enter the house, but lost out to Tom who went on to become the People's Housemate.

The trio are joined by Sam Chaloner, who wasn't chosen to join the house by the current housemates last week in a twist. Instead they decided to pick Savannah and Isabelle.

The four piece entered the house as 'second chance housemates' where it was revealed they can NOT win Big Brother or the main prize.

However they have stolen £15,000 from the prize fund which will be given to the 'second chance housemate' who lasts the longest in the house.

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.

The double eviction airs next Friday from 10PM.
