Love Island 2017: Amber Davies' mum is proud watching her daughter in the villa

Love Island 2017: Amber

Amber Davies' mum says she watches Love Island 2017 proud - despite the sex scenes.

This week's show saw Amber and Kem Cetinay get intimate on the sofas in the living area, but her mum Sue doesn't mind a bit.

"I am incredibly proud of her. I am very liberated," she said.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Sue continued: “I did watch them having sex on Monday night’s episode – I had a bit of a smile on my face, it’s what Love Island is all about isn’t it?

“They are doing what is natural to them. They have probably forgotten that they’re on TV. We are very modern parents. Amber will do what she wants to do with or without us watching."

However Sue admitted she may have to start tuning out if things get more raunchy.

“Besides you don’t see too much anyway – you have to use your imagination," she said. "If there were raunchier scenes shown like Amber having sex outside of the covers then that would make me feel uncomfortable and I’d have to stop watching it."

Sue went on to claim that Amber was "in love" with Kem.

"I can see it on her face. I can see it by the way that she looks at him; I can see it in her eyes," she told the tabloid. “I really do believe she has fallen for him and I hope he has fallen for her too.”

Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2.
