Love Island 2017 contestant Jessica Shears has responded to Dominic Lever's talk of marriage.
Following his exit from the villa on Sunday night, Dom teased this week that the first Love Island 2017 engagement could be on the cards.
Dom said he saw himself proposing to Jess, despite the rumours about her and Mike Thalassitis.
After being dropped from the show along with six others in a mass dumping, Dom revealed he was eger to reunite with Jess.
Jess and Dom heart to heart
He told The Sun newspaper: "Jess and I were on a really good run. If it carries on like that outside the villa then I do see myself proposing."
Dom continued: “I fell in love with her. It was so difficult for me to admit that to Jess. I cried when she left the villa. I’ve cried more in the last four weeks than I have in the last ten years of my life.”
As for Jess, she was quizzed on Dom's comments in a chat on ITV's This Morning on Monday.
Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, Jess reacted: "Whoa! Let's not jump the gun on any of this!"
She then revealed the couple had yet to speak since Dom leaving the villa, blaming it on not having one another's phone numbers.
Jess added: "You know, we just get on so well. I can't believe we built such a strong connection in such little time."
Jess and Dom are set to meet up for Love Island spin-off Aftersun where Dom will no doubt have a number of questions not least about THOSE rumours that Jess had hooked up with Mike after they were evicted together.

"If she did sleep with Mike that I can't know her in a romantic way anymore. If she says it isn't true I will believe her," Dom said after his eviction.
