X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is being tipped to join Strictly Come Dancing.
The 2008 champ of the ITV series is rumoured to have signed up to this year's line up.
After her victory on The X Factor, Alexandra released a Number 1 album in 2009 but it took three years for a follow up, which scraped the Top 20.
Since then, like many X Factor contestants, Alexandra has moved into musical theatre with successful roles in The Bodyguard in London's West End and Sister Act on tour.
The Sister Act tour closes at the start of September, perfectly timed for the start of Strictly with Alex reportedly planning a career overhaul.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Alex loves theatre, but she wants to relaunch her TV career. This seems the perfect way for her to do it.
“She has heard a lot about how great the experience is and can’t wait to get started. She is already working hard on her fitness.”
A rep for Alex didn't confirm the speculation but said it was "nice" that Alex had been linked to the show.
Strictly Come Dancing will be back on BBC One later this year.
More celebs linked to this year's Strictly cast at the time being include Dame Joan Collins, Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom Parker, Olympic gymnast Max Whitlock, footballer Frank Lampard and Olympian Jessica Ennis-Hill.
There's also Paralympian Ellie Simmonds, Robot Wars host Angela Scanlon, Bros singer Matt Goss, comic Joel Dommett and marathon runner Paula Radcliffe.
However no names are officially confirmed yet and won't be until the autumn.
Strictly typically launches in September.
