There were emotional scenes on The Voice Kids UK this weekend.

It was the final round of blind auditions on Saturday night and Danny Jones cried after a touching audition.

It was the fourth episode of the new series tomorrow, which is open to children aged 7 to 14.

Danny is joined by Pixie Lott and as coaches in the spinning red chairs, mentoring the youngsters as they compete for a £30,000 prize and a family trip to Disneyland Paris.

One of the contestants in the final round of auditions is Tomos, 11, from Caernarfon, who sings Kelly Clarkson's Piece by Piece.

Explaining his song choice, Tomas said: "Kelly Clarkson sings about her dad leaving her and I can relate to that."

An emotional Danny replied: "I can relate to that too."

Meanwhile, backstage, host Emma Willis is stood with Tomas' mum in the wings.

Elsewhere in this weekend's episode, Danny gets the studio audience on their feet with an impromptu performance of McFly's hit All About You while standing on his red chair.
