Love Island 2017 hit another record high in last nights TV ratings.

Viewing figures for the ITV2 show have continued to increase, breaking its own record four times this week now.

Last night's show had over 1.8 million viewers, beating the previous high on Tuesday night of 1.7 million.

The impressive figure put ITV2 level with the main channel, as 1.8 million also watched Killer Women with Piers Morgan from 9:15PM following the Germany v Mexico football match with 2 million viewers.

The new Love Island high came despite the latest episode going head to head with Big Brother, which had 900,000 viewers on Channel 5 for its latest live eviction show.

Elsewhere yesterday, the new series of Naked Attraction launched with 1.2 million viewers at 10PM on Channel 5.

Meanwhile, over on BBC One, EastEnders had 5.2 million viewers for its latest episode with 3.1 million watching The Sheriffs Are Coming. DIY SOS won the 9PM slot with 4.4 million viewers
