Love Island’s Jessica Shears has said she won’t hang around if Dominic Lever gets intimate with another girl in the villa.
Jess and Dom were coupled up on the show since launch but were split up after a twist saw Jess evicted when the pair were voted as one of the public’s least favourites.
Jess - who insists she didn’t want Dom to leave the villa - told new! magazine this week: “Obviously it’s going to be weird seeing Dom if he goes on dates and stuff. I think any girl would be jealous of another girl getting to hang out with the guy she likes.
“But if someone else goes in there that’s his type, who is better for him than me, honestly I just want him to be happy and have a girl that treats him amazingly - whether that’s me or someone else. But if Dom gets intimate with another girl, I won’t be hanging around.”
The comments come after rumours Jess had hooked up with fellow Love Islander Mike Thalassitis outside the villa following her eviction.
But she appeared on spin-off show After Sun to tell Caroline Flack: "We were together for a day, staying in the same villa but in separate rooms, and we both had to do press and things," she said. "Absolutely nothing happened, and it's laughable, because he's being an angel.
"I've messaged him because I've been crying about it, and what's silly now is we can't go out as a group because everyone's going to talk more."
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITv2.
