Love Island 2017: Simon dumps Montana for Tyla in recoupling

Love Island 2017: Montana

Love Island's Simon Searles swapped Montana Brown for Tyla Carr in tonight's recoupling.

In this evening's show, Marcel got a text which read: "Islanders, tonight there will be a recoupling in which the boys will pick the girls they want to couple up with. #MakeItCount #SeizeTheDay"

The news sent shock waves through the villa before the Islanders gathered around the firepit with the girls standing the guys sitting.

Alongside Simon and Tyla, the couples were: Chris and Olivia, Marcel and Gabby, Jonny and Camilla, Kem and Amber and Dom and Montana.

Simon's switch in alliances followed a clash with Montana in the villa over his feelings towards both Tyla and Amber Davies.

Chatting to Amber, Simon said he was keeping his options open and that he felt there was a spark missing between him and Montana in terms of attraction: “The initial spark for me looks-wise and attraction is just not there. I am quite a sexual person so sexual attraction is quite important for me,”

Later, Simon revealed to Jonny: “I fancy Tyla serious. She’s class, she’s got a proper pretty face, she’s one of those girls you want to kiss. She’s got a nice mouth, nice teeth.”

Following the recoupling, a public vote has since opened for viewers to pick their favourites of the couples.

The couples with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the island with the results revealed in tomorrow (Wednesday) night's show.
