Jon, who is appeared on the first series of Love Island and was said to be dating Chloe earlier this year, couldn't hide his happiness over the result.
“So guys after watching that episode of Love Island, karma’s a b***h, but you know, I ain’t bothered," he said in a video on Instagram, before winking to camera.
Ahead of Love Island's launch this month, it was claimed that Chloe had left Jon to enter the show.
"Jon is absolutely devastated. The first he heard of Chloe going on the show was last night when the line-up was announced," a source said previously.
They told The Sun newspaper: "They've been on and off in the past but recently they were very much together, there was no question about it.
"They were talking about having children just the other day so this is obviously a massive shock."
However Chloe hit back and said: “Jon is my ex-boyfriend. We broke up a number of months ago. I’m single and have been for the past few months.”
She continued: “The show is not about Jon Clark – it is about me. That is the whole reason I am doing it. If I wanted to be back in Essex I could be.
“I don’t know why he is lying about it. Let him call me an ‘evil b***h.”
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
