Tyla Carr, Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies could be involved in a new Love Island 2017 triangle.

It follows Kem and Amber pretty much breaking up after a row in last night's show.

“I just basically called it off. I don’t think she thought I was going to…” Kem told the other Islanders yesterday.

Simon asked if he can see himself “cracking on” to any other girls in the villa but Kem says: “Not at the moment really because I do like her but I need a couple of days to sort myself out and not always worry about someone else. I’m not used to worrying about someone else because I’ve never had a girlfriend before.”

Later in the garden, Kem is cutting Tyla’s hair. He jokes the other girls are going to be jealous because they’ve all been asking him for hair cuts and he hasn’t done them yet. Amber looks on from the balcony.

Tyla tells Kem that her type is him or Jonny. She also reveals that her friends and family back home keep telling her that “Kem is a right bit of you,” she laughs before joking Kem couldn’t handle her height.

In the Beach Hut, Tyla smiles when talking about Kem: “We were having a chit chat, we just had a bit of banter, maybe a little bit of a flirt… maybe.”

The next day, Kem is talking to Jonny about the connection he had with Tyla when he was cutting her hair: “We got on like a house on fire. I couldn’t believe it, it proper put me in a good mood. It’s the first time I’ve relaxed, I couldn’t stop laughing the whole time. I was looking forward to getting up today and just getting to chat to her again.”

In the Beach Hut, Amber is talking about her feelings towards Kem: “Me and Kem are completely not a thing anymore. He’s spent quite a lot of time with Tyla, got into bed last night and he was saying ‘I’m really glad we’re friends’.

"Surely if you can jump ship that quickly, your feelings weren’t genuine for me but regardless of that me and him didn’t work and we weren’t happy. If she makes him happy then I’ll just let them do what they need to do… If I jumped ship as quickly as he has jumped ship, then I would be the most hated girl in the villa but because it’s Kem he gets away with it.”

Later, Amber tells some of the girls: “If Tyla does crack on, she should come and speak to me before. Otherwise I will kick off, I will.”

Chloe is then “accidentally” looking through Gabby’s phone. She reads out texts Kem has sent her where he admits he fancies Tyla. Chloe later tells Amber what the texts said.

Amber is annoyed and confronts Kem in the bathroom. He plays it down: “It’s banter, if I was trying to hide something, I wouldn’t have said something over text.”

Later, Amber has a heart to heart with Montana and Chloe: “How can he say he’s falling in love with me and then within two days jump ship? How? How is that even nice and natural and normal? It’s not fair. I genuinely don’t think his feelings were real at all. They couldn’t have been… I feel like he’s going to realise the grass isn’t greener.”

In the evening, Amber pulls Tyla aside for a chat by the fire pit.

Amber says: “Obviously there’s unfinished business between me and Kem, ridiculous amounts, feelings on my behalf haven’t gone and they won’t go for a long time.

"But then I got a bit angry today, I was like ‘I hope she comes and talks to me if she does fancy him’ because I’ve got every girls’ back in here before anything. I’m just like that a lot of us girls are like that in here.”

Love Island 2017 continues tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
