Strictly's Craig Revel Horwood says new judge Shirley Ballas won't be a "bigger b***h" than him on the panel.
Shirley is joining Strictly this year to replace Len Goodman, who stepped down at the end of last series.
She'll also take over his role as head judge but Craig insists he'll still be the true top dog of the panel.
Chatting to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, Craig said: “Shirley can try to be as mean as me… let’s see. It’s all about the technique. I am definitely the bigger bitch. And my outfits will be more glamourous.”
Speaking about the new addition, Craig continued: “The reason I wanted to keep doing Strictly was because we now have a new judge. I can’t wait to go into battle with her.
“I am hoping there will be banter between us. We have already had words. I can’t reveal what was said. But I can promise it’s going to be interesting. People will have to wait and see how it all comes out.”
And Craig went on to suggest that Shirley will give Strictly even more reason for viewers to tune in when the BBC series faces The X Factor on ITV in the autumn.
He said: “Shirley is so knowledgeable. She’ll be fierce. She’s amazing. So now we’ve got Shirley joining, X Factor just can’t compete with us. There’s no competition.”
Strictly returns to BBC One at the weekend.
