Marcel Somerville and Gabby Allen enjoyed some alone time in the hideaway on Love Island 2017 this weekend.

But just what went on?

In the villa yesterday, Marcel requested some personal time with Gabby in the hideaway.

He told her: “I thought to myself, you know what, I want to have a nice little moment with us where there’s not so many people around. So I asked if we could have the Hideaway, not for anything too much. Just so we could be together without you being embarrassed and stuff like that. So would you like to go to the Hideaway with me tonight? Promise you, I’m a gentleman forever.”

Fortunately for Marcel, Gabby accepted his advances, as she gushed: “I’m really excited. I’m nervous. You can’t just do that to me. We have to prepare.”

As Gabby prepared for her big night with the other girls, Olivia lent Gabby her underwear and then asked “do you feel like you’re losing your virginity all over again, it’s like you’re 18?”

Embarrassed, Gabby replied: “No because I’m not going to be losing anything apart from…”

Montana interjected: “your knickers.”

With that, the pair escaped for their evening in the Hideaway, but all didn’t quite go to plan as they were joined by an unwelcome guest when a bumble bee began to attack the couple.

“Oh my god this is the worst night of my life. Gabs, this is the worst night of our lives," Marcel reacted to the insect that had found its way into the room. "There’s another one over there. How do I open the door? This is my worst nightmare. There’s got to be a way to get this out.”

Gabby then squealed “It’s in the bed!”

EVENTUALLY the room was bug free, allowing the couple to enjoy some privacy.

Well, as much privacy as you can get in a villa with 70 cameras.

As the lights went down, were Gabby and Marcel about to follow in Dom and Jessica’s footsteps and give the Hideaway its second night to remember?

The next morning, the islanders were full of speculation.

Montana said: “I think like, surely you would if you had the hideaway but then I’m not sure. you should have seen Gabs before she left. You should have seen the underwear Gabs had on.”

All is revealed on Love Island on Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2.

Plus tonight is new spin-off Aftersun, featuring the first TV interview with dumped islanders Jessica and Mike, following on ITV2 at 10pm.
