Former MP Simon Danczuk is said to be in talks to join the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Simon was suspended from the Labour party in 2015 after making tabloid headlines for the wrong reasons.
He then attempted to win a seat in Parliament as an independent candidate, but received fewer than 1,000 votes.
According to The Sun newspaper, Simon is said to be "mulling over" an offer to appear in Celebrity Big Brother from Channel 5.
A source told the tabloid: “He’s delighted by the interest but is in two minds.
“It could change people’s opinion of him for the better. But he’s also thinking about stepping away from the public eye.”
Simon wouldn't be the first politician to be on Big Brother, following in the footsteps of George Galloway, Tommy Sheridan and Winston McKenzie.
Although no names have been officially confirmed for the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 summer line up, there's been no shortage of rumours.
Other names linked to the new series at the time being alongside Sandi include Donald Trump's ex wife Ivana Trump, TOWIE's Bobby Norris, Union J singer Jaymi Hensley and Ex On the Beach's Jordan Davies.
Plus there's TV psychic Derek Acorah, wrestling star Hulk Hogan, Britain's Next Top Model contestant Talulah-Eve Brown, X Factor's Sam Callahan, celebrity tattooist Kevin Paul and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.
Even more rumoured housemates include X Factor blabbermouth Sinitta, TV presenter John Leslie, TOWIE's Pete Wicks and Ex On The Beach’s Chanelle McCleary.
Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 this summer, following the upcoming civilian series which kicked off on Monday, June 5.
