Jessica Shears and Dominic Lever became the first couple to have sex in the Love Island 2017 villa this week.
The whole villa came together for Jessica’s birthday as Dom publicly declared his feelings for Jessica by reading her a self-penned poem.
Dom’s romantic words had clearly had the desired effect on Jessica, who declared: “I literally adore Dom. Did you hear that poem? If that doesn’t make any girls’ knickers drop, I don’t know what does.”
She then confessed to Olivia: “I’m proper falling. I’ve never had a boy tick all the boxes like he does.”
When the islanders’ were asked to send one couple to the Hideaway for the evening, there were in no doubt about who the lucky recipients would be.
Dom’s glee was clear to see, as he rejoiced in the Beach Hut: “Not only do we get alone time, we get alone time in a bed. And it’s not just our bed. It’s the hideaway bed. What happens in the hideaway stays in the hideaway.”
But Jessica wasn’t about to let Dom’s excitement get the better of him, as she warned him: “Dom, I believe in no sex before marriage, FYI.”
However as the lights went out in the Hideaway, it would be a birthday to remember for Jessica...
And it followed Jess saying just days ago it'd never happen. “Oh my god. You’re not getting me naked ever," she told Dom. “My knickers will remain firmly on, until I leave this villa.
"True story. What you got last night is as good as you’re getting.”
Love Island 2017 continues nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
