The Voice UK Kids launched to 4.3 million viewers last night on ITV.
The first ever series of the spin-off show, which peaked at 4.6 million viewers, wasn't too far below the launch of the main series back in January, which had 6 million viewers for its opening episode.
The Voice Kids was the second most watched show of the day, behind only the Scotland v England football match which averaged 4.7 million in the afternoon on ITV. The football, which ended in a draw, peaked with 7 million viewers.
On BBC One, Doctor Who rose to 3.6 million viewers from last week - where it had clashed with the Britain's Got Talent final - while Casualty continued with 3.9 million viewers. Who Dares Wins had 2.8 million while Mrs Brown's Boys repeated with 3.6 million viewers.
On Channel 5, Big Brother dropped to a series low although not too unexpected with Saturday's show usally the lowest rated. Just 800,000 viewers tuned in at 9PM last night, below two repeats of Can't Pay? We'll Take It away which both averaged a million viewers.
