Ahead of Love Island 2017's launch, it was claimed that Chloe had left Jon to enter the show.
"Jon is absolutely devastated. The first he heard of Chloe going on the show was last night when the line-up was announced," a source said last week.
They told The Sun newspaper: "They've been on and off in the past but recently they were very much together, there was no question about it.
"They were talking about having children just the other day so this is obviously a massive shock."
Taking to Instagram, Jon said he wanted to join the villa to confront Chloe: "I feel sorry for any guy she gets with on the island!! Let me get back out there and say my piece!! All I ever did was be there for her and support her! We fully together and she didn’t even break up with me! I just want people to know the truth!"
However Chloe it back and said: “Jon is my ex-boyfriend. We broke up a number of months ago. I’m single and have been for the past few months.”
She continued: “The show is not about Jon Clark – it is about me. That is the whole reason I am doing it. If I wanted to be back in Essex I could be.
“I don’t know why he is lying about it. Let him call me an ‘evil b***h.”
Now it's been suggested that Jon could return to the ITV2 series for a showdown.
The Sun reports that the now star of TOWIE is hoping to confront Chloe about their relationship in the villa.
As for whether or not he gets the chance, we'll have to wait and see...
Love Island 2017 airs nightly on ITV2 at 9PM.
