23-year-old former Ibiza Weekender star Ellie Young and 39-year-old Imran Javeed, who entered the house with his wife Sukhvinder, have gone straight into the betting as joint 9/2 favourites. Sukhvinder, a baby products entrepreneur, is next in the betting at 6/1 to win.

Tom Barber was voted into the house by the people as the ‘People’s Housemate’, putting him in charge of the house and giving him direct contact with the outside world. As a result, Tom is one to watch and is priced at 7/1 to take the title.

A mother and daughter duo also entered the house, 51-year-old Mandy Longworth and 24-year-old Charlotte Keys, who are priced at 25/1 and 16/1 respectively.

Another pairing in the house is sisters Deborah Agboola and Hannah Agboola, who is Miss Nigeria UK 2016, with both are priced at 16/1.

Some Ex on The Beach stars have also joined the Big Brother summer line-up. Chanelle McCleary (10/1), Kieran Lee (14/1) and Kayleigh Morris (25/1) have all appeared on the MTV show.

The remaining housemates are nightclub owner Joe Quaranta (12/1), Arthur Fulford (16/1) who is son of Lord Francis Fulford, detective agency owner Rebecca Jane (25/1), psychology student Raphael Korine (25/1) and Dreamboy and Louie Spence’s nephew, Lotan Carter (25/1).

Aoife Heffron, Spokeswoman for BoyleSports said this afternoon: “Big Brother is back and already there are two housemates vying for the crown as our traders have been unable to separate Ellie Young and Imran Javeed, making them joint 9/2 favourites.”

She added: “Both Ellie and Imran were quick to see support from punters. Another housemate we are keeping a close eye on is People’s Housemate, Tom Barber, who’s purpose in the house is to do the dirty work for the public and should he comply, it will no doubt see his current 7/1 odds shorten.”
