Liam Gallagher has revealed he's repeatedly turned down I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Outta Here!

The former Oasis frontman has ruled out ever taking part in the ITV series despite numerous offers from show bosses.

He told Radio X (via The List) of ever appearing in the jungle: "No but I've been offered to go on that - they keep ringing me every year, man - that 'I'm a Celeb'... you know the jungle thing?

"Every year I'm like that 'leave it out, mate'."

And Liam is far from the only star to say no to I'm A Celeb with Ed Balls saying this week he also said turned down the show.

The standout of Strictly Come Dancing last year rejected an offer from ITV to appear in its jungle series - and with good reason.

"Strictly is actually a very warm, binding programme which everybody enjoys. It's not about humiliation," Ed said.

Speaking at the Hay Literature Festival, he continued: "My dad's a scientist, and when I was three [years old] in his lab at the University of East Anglia, I put my finger into a cage and got bitten by a rat.

"And ever since then, a morbid fear of rats has ruled out any reality TV show with rodents."

While the new series of I'm A Celebrity is a LONG way off hitting TV screens, there have been some names positively linked to the upcoming run.

X Factor's Honey G and Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas have been tipped to join the line up this year.

Other names tentatively linked to the show include Olympic Taekwondo champ Jade Jones, The Only Way Is Essex's Danielle Armstrong and Tattoo Fixers star Paisley Billings.

Finally there are rumours that Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews may finally return to camp after his short stay on the show in 2015.

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2017 will start on ITV in the autumn
