Alesha Dixon has insisted she wasn’t DRUNK on tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent 2017 live show after the other judges teased her for nearly messing up Issy Simpson’s act!

In her semi-final performance tonight, magician Issy presented Alesha with a bag containing 100 numbers written on pieces of paper, and asked her to pick one at random.

However, when prompted to reveal the number, Alesha said ’30,515’ out loud - even though the paper said ’30,717’.

Issy then revealed the number 30,517 in a story she’d supposedly written before the show.

The slip-up didn’t go unnoticed, and on ITV2 spin-off show Britain’s Got More Talent afterwards, one cheeky caller insinuated that Alesha had enjoyed a tipple.

“Why are you drinking on set? You could have ruined it for Issy!” the viewer asked.

The other judges found the suggestion hilarious, with Simon Cowell joking: “This is quite a serious problem, I don’t think we should go there!

“It happens a lot in showbusiness, when you’re under a lot of pressure alcoholism is a problem! We’re there to support Alesha!”

The former Mis-Teeq star denied hitting the booze, responding: “I only drink vegetable juice!

“I have to apologise to Issy for nearly messing it up. She was so good that it just threw me off. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

But Simon took another chance to poke fun at her when he was asked to rank the judges.

“To be fair to Alesha, the alcohol didn’t help,” he smirked.

“You can’t make these jokes because people believe you!” Alesha exclaimed.

“You know what, let’s get through this battle together, okay?” Simon replied.

Thankfully for Issy, Alesha’s mistake didn’t affect her BGT dream.

The 9-year-old won tonight’s heat, putting her through to Sunday’s grand final alongside runner-up Matt Edwards.

Britain’s Got Talent 2017 continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
