TOWIE's Pete Wicks is reportedly in talks to join the Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up.
Fresh from his stint on the latest series of the ITVBe show, Pete could be set for another reality TV challenge.
According to The Sun newspaper, show bosses are "determined" to sign a deal with Pete, who's on/off girlfriend Megan McKenna proved a hit on CBB in 2016.
A source claimed: “Pete has already said he needs a break from the show and seeing as this is going to be a big money deal it’s looking like a no-brainer.”
They added: “Celebrity Big Brother launched Megan’s career so Pete knows it could take him to the next level and boost his profile, while giving him a much-need break from Towie stress.”
Pete previously confessed to wanting a break from TOWIE after a turbulent year with Megan on the show.
“It has felt like a long time since we started filming this year; TOWIE can be mentally draining sometimes," he said.
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother launches later this year, following the upcoming 'civilian' BBUK.
Other names linked to the new series at the time being include Donald Trump's ex wife Ivana Trump, TOWIE's Bobby Norris, Union J singer Jaymi Hensley and Ex On The Beach’s Chanelle McCleary.
Plus there's TV psychic Derek Acorah, wrestling star Hulk Hogan, Britain's Next Top Model contestant Talulah-Eve Brown, X Factor's Sam Callahan, celebrity tattooist Kevin Paul and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Ester Dee.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 said they did not comment on housemate rumours.
Celebrity Big Brother will air on Channel 5 this summer.
