The new look Big Brother 2017 house has been given a 'village makeover' - but it could be hiding a secret.

Apparently the revamped bungalow will be reminiscent of "one of Britain's best kept villages", which ties into the previously released British themed eye.

Last week Channel 5 confirmed the first details of this year's series, saying: "This summer, Big Brother presents a must-watch culture clash of modern Britain."

They added: "At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain."

Saying that Big Brother 2017 would prove to be "the ultimate social experiment", Channel 5 hasn't yet officially revealed the new look house.

But Bit On The Side host Rylan has been spilling secrets and shared: "The BBUK house this series is one of Britain's best kept villages.

"We've got cottages, shops... it's very different, it's the most different I've seen it."

Rylan went on to tease cryptically: "But is everything as it seems?

"We promise to reflect all aspects of Britain..."

Meanwhile, no exact launch date for Big Brother 2017 has been announced just yet but last year's series started on June 7 and some time around that time would appear likely again.

However there's the General Election on June 8 which rumour has it could see the launch moved, potentially either later or earlier in the month.

Meanwhile, Channel 5 have also still to confirm how long the new series of summer's Big Brother will run for.

Last year's show was the shortest yet, coming in at just 50 days, 16 fewer than the previous series and 44 fewer than the longest run to date.
