Big Brother 2017 is on its way and the show is heading back to its roots.
Channel 5 has promised the new series will be "the ultimate social experiment" when it launches next month.
Describing Big Brother 18 as a "must-watch culture clash of modern Britain," the channel tease: "At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain."
They continued: "Standby for a very British summer of contrasts, conflicts and collaboration...and more fireworks than you could imagine, as a selection of people, from a range of backgrounds, come together in the ultimate social experiment.
"The United Kingdom of Big Brother…and everyone is welcome."
The first taste of the new series was revealed today with the new Big Brother eye, formed from a multi-coloured Union Jack flag, featuring a patchwork of eclectic images representing modern Britain.
Join presenter Emma Willis at the grand live launch to witness these highly anticipated selection of housemates enter the iconic house. Big Brother is all set with a whole new series of tasks, twists and surprises to bond, divide and entertain the housemates and viewers alike.
Meanwhile, Big Brother’s Bit On the Side returns weeknights with Rylan Clark-Neal. As always, Joining him will be a variety of celebrity panellists, talking heads and an audience of BB fans to debate hot topics, reveal exclusives and go behind the scenes of the main show.
Big Brother 2017 will launch on Monday, June 5 on Channel 5 at 9PM.
