Love Island 2017 is on its way but when does the brand new series begin on TV?

ITV has already revealed a new trailer for Love Island series 3 and the air date for Love Island 2017 on ITV2 has finally been confirmed.

The new series will start on Monday, June 5 at 9PM on ITV2.

Love Island season 3 will then continue nightly as usual.

"Exactly 1 week till I see this Loony toons... on an island, somewhere warm ❤❤❤❤🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴 #loveisland" posted host Caroline Flack alongside a picture of herself and Love Island's famous narrator Iain Stirling.

Earlier this month saw a first teaser for the new series revealed, featuring a load of hotties enjoying the summer sun.

"Get ready for the heatwave," says host Caroline in a voice over for the advert.

As well as Caroline's return as presenter, Iain Stirling will be back to voice the third series.

But it's not all the same with some new updates to the show.

As well as introducing this year’s fresh batch of Love Islanders, Caroline will also host a brand new weekly live studio show in the UK called Aftersun that will keep Love Island on everyone’s lips throughout the summer.

Airing every Sunday night with a panel of different celebrity guests each week, the show will offer viewers first reaction to the goings on in the villa, exclusive interviews with dumped islanders, and all the gossip from the sauciest and sexiest series to date.

Plus, Caroline will be appearing in the villa throughout the series to deliver shock announcements and surprise twists that are guaranteed to test relationships in the islanders’ passion-fuelled paradise to the max.

Love Island will air on ITV2 this summer.
