Love Island 2017 is here and this month has seen the very first promo revealed along with the air date.

The one-minute ad is pretty much what we've come to expect from the show, featuring hotties with few clothes enjoying the summer sun.


"Get ready for the heatwave," teases host Caroline Flack in a voice over for the advert.

When does Love Island 2017 start? Air date confirmed!

The new series will start on MONDAY, June 5 at 9PM on ITV2, it's been confirmed.

Season 3 will kick off with an hour long opener before continuing weeknights at 9PM.

As for what to expect, we already know is that Caroline's still hosting and that Iain Stirling will return to voice the series.

But what's new for Love Island 2017?

As well as introducing this year’s fresh batch of Love Islanders, Caroline will also host a brand new weekly live studio show in the UK that called Aftersun which will keep Love Island on everyone’s lips throughout the summer.

Airing on Sunday nights with a panel of different celebrity guests each week, the show will offer viewers first reaction to the goings on in the villa, exclusive interviews with dumped islanders, and all the gossip from the sauciest and sexiest series to date.


Meanwhile contestants will be braced for a bombshell whenever Caroline drops in – she will be appearing in the villa throughout the series to deliver shock announcements and surprise twists that are guaranteed to test relationships in the islanders’ passion-fuelled paradise to the max.

Love Island will air on ITV2 this year.
