Max The Dog has returns to Britain's Got Talent - after attacking Ant at his previous audition.

The out of control Yorkshire Terrier first shocked on Britain's Got Talent back in 2015.

"That’s the great thing about Britain’s Got Talent, you never know what’s coming next and we’re constantly surprised by the weird and wonderful acts that come along," Dec said at the time.

And that was proven when pet pooch Max ended up taking on poor Ant on the sidelines of the stage.

"For some reason it took a massive disliking to me!" he recalled. "It kept disrupting the act and running back off stage to nibble my ankles.

"There was no reason why it hated me more than anyone else, but he clearly didn’t like me, I don’t know why."

Owner Dave claimed he spent FIVE years preparing the act to take before the judges but it was ruined when Max the dog ran off stage during his audition to nibble away at Ant's feet.

Dave and Max returned to BGT at the weekend and in an audition cut from the main show, promised an all singing, all dancing dog act.

While this time Max left Ant alone, there was little else that could be said for the performance.

Simon Cowell branded it the "worst dog act we've never had" and quipped: "I'm really disappointed he didn't attack Ant."

Amanda Holden commented "He's very cute."

Alesha Dixon added: "He does what he wants when he wants and that's why I love him."

Simon actually gave the act a yes in "blind faith and hope" but with nos from the girls it meant Max was going no further

Britain's Got Talent airs Saturday nights on ITV with spin-off show More Talent straight after on ITV2.
