There could soon be a shake up in The Only Way Is Essex cast.
With series 20 already underway, there could be some changes soon.
Love Island's Cara De La Hoyde is being tipped to join the ITVBe show full time following a couple of recent guest appearances.
It comes after her split from Nathan Massey, who has also been popping up on the show.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Cara is expected to sign on the dotted line – she has got lots to say and Towie bosses know that fans are really interested in her relationship with Nathan and their split.
“They know how popular Cara is because of her huge social media following and there will be lots of mileage in her as a full-time cast member.”
Cara's introduction could follow Kate Wright's exit.
She's announced an extended break from the show after the current series ends.
Kate told The Sun newspaper: “I am taking a long break from the show to focus on my new business ventures and an exciting bikini range.”
“Kate has been so busy recently and doesn’t have the time to commit to the show," a source explained. “She is grateful for everything the show has given her but will now be focusing her attention on launching her new bikini line.
“She knows that the door is always open for her to return.”
A TOWIE spokesperson confirmed: "Kate has informed producers that she may take an extended break after filming for this series wraps.
"We fully support this decision and will keep in close contact with Kate so we can mutually decide if and when a return is appropriate. We wish her well in her future projects."
