8-year-old magician Issy Simpson wowed the Britain's Got Talent judges on tonight's show.

While magic acts are nothing new on BGT, school girl Issy from Blackpool is one of the youngest ever.

Inspired by her grandfather, she's been practicing magic for the past three years.

"When I grow up I'd like to be Hermione Granger from Harry Potter because she's a witch," said Issy.

On Saturday's show, Issy was seen starting her act by presenting the judges with a cardboard box full of books.

Issy emptied the box and gave the judges a trio of books, including David Walliams' own.

She then invited Simon Cowell to put the box on the floor, but the music mogul realised he couldn't. Despite help from David, the box appeared impossible to move.

Issy removed a small pack of cards from the box before lifting it easily, stunning the judges.

The tiny magician continued by inviting Simon to pick a random card, a random number and any one of the three books, before asking Alesha to pick a random word from the numbered page and book Simon had chosen.

Issy then revealed the random word had been written on a blackboard on the stage the whole time.

And in one final twist, Issy unveiled the t shirt under her coat and it had Simon's card printed on it.

"Just amazing," declared Simon as he and the other judges gave Issy four yeses through to the next round.

Also on this weekend's show were comedian Jonny Awsum and singer-songwriter Reuben Gray.

Britain's Got Talent 2017 is back Saturday night at 8PM on ITV with More Talent straight after on ITV2 from 9:20PM.
