Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams has opened up about his sexuality.

In a candid chat, the comic has spoken about his sexuality and explained that he "wouldn't rule out" a same-sex relationship.

David had been married to model Lara Stone but the couple - who have a three-year-old son - split in 2015 after five years together.

Now David has discussed previous "gay experiences" but was also "attracted to women".

He told The Sunday People (via Daily Mail): "I wouldn’t totally rule it out [finding love with a man].

"I had gay experiences growing up, which I enjoyed. I was a teen and in a lot of all-male environments. I am naturally very camp."

He added: "I’m attracted to women. Sometimes I think it would be simpler if I wasn’t because people think I’m gay and I’m camp. It would just be quite easy but I do find women really, really attractive."

Meanwhile, the comedian has spoken out about working with Simon Cowell on Britain's Got Talent again as the new series returns to ITV.

"Simon seems to have been in a really good mood this year," David said. "Sometimes we just spend the whole time winding each other up and being really competitive but this year Stephen Mulhern actually said we’re like brothers this year because we’re actually getting on fine.

"It’s nice working with the same people for a long period of time because you really get to know each other. It gets very comfortable, we can argue with each other and it doesn’t get personal, that’s important."
