The Voice 2017 winner Mo Adeniran has already finished recording his debut EP.

While no official release date has been given just yet, it could be out as early as Friday, less than two weeks after his win.

Mo won The Voice 2017 earlier this month, beating Into The Ark to the win in the grand final.

He immediately released a cover of Unsteady by The X Ambassadors which - it's fair to say - didn't quite set the charts alight.

The song debuted at Number 78 last Friday, the lowest ranked debut of any voice winner to date.

However the focus has been on the upcoming EP which Mo told fans he has already put the finishing touches to.

"EP is recorded, been a long week but I've enjoyed myself so much, looking forward to the future ✌🏿" Mo tweeted.

As well as the upcoming EP, this Sunday night will see Mo back on ITV with his own TV special: The Voice UK's Winner's Story.

Cameras have been there every step of the way from his victory as he navigates a whirlwind of media interviews and photoshoots and records music for his mini album.

The 60 minute one-off show will also see Mo heading back to his hometown of Warrington to perform a very special gig and revealing just what he plans to do next.

The Voice UK Winner's Story airs Sunday night (April 16) on ITV at 8PM.
