Britain's Got Talent 2017 is back and impressionist Jess Robinson was a stand out from the first episode.

33 year old Jess is a teacher from North London by day.

But for the past decade, she's been a singing impressionist in her spare time.

Hoping to ditch the classroom for good and become a full time performer, Jess went before the BGT judges this weekend.

In her audition, Jess kicked off her performance with her takes on classics by Shirley Bassey and Julie Andrews.

She then finished with performances of Britney Spears, Sharon Osbourne and Cheryl Cole before getting a standing ovation from the audience.

With such a reaction it was no surprise to see Jess get four yeses from the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams - securing her spot in the next round.

Britain's Got Talent 2017 continues Saturday nights on ITV.

As well as Jess, acts you can expect to see this year's new series include; a love guru, a ten-foot robot and a pair of Simon Cowells - as if one wasn't bad enough.

There are also three record-breaking acts, BGT’s youngest ever magician and a dance crew like you’ve never seen before...

With thousands of people applying, viewers can expect to be amazed by the remarkable line-up of acts competing to be crowned this year’s winner and in doing so, secure an incredible £250,000 and the opportunity to perform at the Royal Variety Performance 2017.

Britain's Got Talent 2017 is back next Saturday night at 8PM on ITV.
