Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon could be set to leave the show.

While the former Mis-Teeq singer will definitely be on the panel for this year's series, it may potentially be her last.

According to The Sun newspaper, Alesha is looking to turn her hand to acting and hoping to break America.

"Alesha’s been taking acting lessons and is focused on making a big splash in LA," a source told the newspaper. “She’s had some really encouraging meetings and could be on the brink of a big role that could really establish her in America."

The insider added: “If it did, it could be the end of her time on Britain’s Got Talent, which would be the only bad thing about an opportunity as she really loves that job.”

For the time being, Alesha remains on the BGT panel alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden with the new series kicking off on Saturday.

The four piece have been together on the show for the past five years and Alesha revealed this weekend they're BFFs even off camera.

"We have a group WhatsApp. It gets very naughty. Mainly the material from Amanda Holden!" Alesha told the Daily Mirror.

She continued: "The other night we all went to watch Amanda in her new play, but when I arrived I didn’t have a ticket. So, because of the mix-up, they put me in a box. Anyway, the grief I was getting on the group chat.

"Ant and Dec saying I was too good for them now, Amanda was messaging in the interval. David Walliams was filming The Nightly Show, but still got involved saying I was too big for my boots. But I was the only one who didn’t have a bloody ticket! Typical."

Britain's Got Talent 2017 will kick off on Saturday, April 15 at 8PM on ITV.
