Ratings for The Voice UK rallied for the first half of this weekend's live final last night.

The latest live show between 8:30PM and 10:20PM saw the final four contestants singing a new solo song and a duet with their mentors.

At the end of the show, one act was eliminated ahead of the final three competing in the last show of the series this evening.

An average audience of 4.4 million viewers watched the show, up 600,000 viewers on last weekend.

The episode, which peaked at 5 million viewers, is the highest rated since the knockouts last month.

However it still makes for the lowest final rating ever, down 100,000 on last year's show which went head to head with the launch of Britain's Got Talent.

Unlike on BBC, The Voice UK final on ITV is split over two nights and will continue this evening at 7PM.

Before The Voice last night, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway topped the night with 6.3 million viewers, down 200,000 on last week with a peak audience of 7.7 million.

Over on BBC One, All Round To Mrs Browns stayed steady with 5.5 million watching the second episode following last Saturday night's launch.

Earlier, Casualty also remained unchanged on last week's numbers with 4.4 million while Pointless Celebrities had 3.6 million viewers.
