Katie Price is reportedly gearing up to take on the charts once more.
The model turned reality TV regular is supposedly working on new music with a single due out later in 2017.
"Katie’s dreamt of being a pop star her whole life, she didn’t set out to be a Page 3 model but being a professional singer is her biggest ambition," a friend told The Sun newspaper. “People may laugh at the idea of her becoming a pop star but she has the grit and determination to make it big.
"The single is out later this year.”
A source close to Katie added to the publication: “Watch this space.”
Katie has previously attempted to launch her music career with varying degrees of success.
Back in 2005 she competed to represent the UK in Eurovision but was beaten by Popstars The Rivals contestant Javine, who ended up ranking 22nd in the competition.
A year later, Katie and then husband Peter Andre released a cover of A Whole New World which reached Number 12 on the charts.
They went on to put out an album together which peaked at Number 20 and sold over 180,000 copies.
Then in 2010, Katie put out her most recent track Free to Love Again which failed to make the Top 40, charting at Number 60.
Will her new effort fare any better?
