Jeremy McConnell has reportedly been axed from the new Ex On The Beach cast.
The recent Celebrity Big Brother housemate had been rumoured to appear in the next series of the MTV's Ex On The Beach in the summer.
But following his arrest over accusations of assault, insiders claim that Jeremy has been dropped from the show.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "MTV bosses wanted to get Jeremy onboard for years and finally managed to sign him up.
"But his legal troubles have left them no choice but to axe him from the cast."
They added: "The show will now go ahead without him."
Reps for Jeremy and MTV told DigitalSpy that they had no comment on the reports.
Jeremy had been tipped to join the cast of Ex On The Beach with on / off girlfriend Stephanie Davis.
The pair had appeared on CBB together last year but Stephanie rubbished the idea that she would be heading back to reality telly after welcoming her first child over the new year.
"I'm shocked and surprised by what I'm reading in the press today. I will not be appearing on any reality tv programme anytime soon," Stephanie wrote on Twitter.
Ex On The beach airs Tuesday nights on MTV.
