Ratings for The Voice UK 2017 on ITV dropped even further for last night's semi-final show.

An average audience of 3.8 million tuned in for the latest marathon live episode between 8:30PM and 10:20PM, the lowest Saturday rating the show has ever seen.

In fact, it's the second lowest rating of all time, below only this year's Sunday night knockout show which had 3.4 million viewers.

Last night's episode - which included both the live performances and the elimination results - saw the final four chosen.

It was down 400,000 on last weekend's previous low with numbers continuing to drop each weekend since the end of the blind auditions.

On BBC One last year the semi-final averaged 4.5 million viewers while 2015's semi-final had 6.3 million viewers

The Voice 2017 will conclude next Saturday and Sunday night with a two part final live on ITV.

Before The Voice last night, Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway continued with 6.5 million viewers to top the night, down on last weekend's series high of 7.4 million viewers.

The Geordie duo topped the weekend ratings for a fifth Saturday running, with Saturday Night Takeaway currently enjoying its best viewing figures in years.

Over on BBC One, new series All Round To Mrs Brown's started very strong with 5.5 million for its first episode at gone 9PM. Earlier, Casualty had 4.4 million viewers.
