Jennifer Hudson's son entertains The Voice UK audience during ad breaks

Jennifer Hudson's son has been secretly entertaining The Voice UK audience during ad breaks.

Unseen by us viewers during last Saturday's show, Jennifer's son David kept the crowd occupied as they waited for the live show to return from commercials.

But thanks to a new clip, we can watch what didn't make it to air on the TV on Saturday night.

In the video, David is seen on stage dancing to Uptown Funk, to cheers from the crowd.

Meanwhile, proud mum Jennifer watches on and films the performance on her phone.

It's not the first appearance from David on The Voice 2017.

Back during the blind auditions, Jennifer invited her son to join her on stage.

The new coach on The Voice UK also got seven-year-old David to sit alongside her in the famous spinning red chairs.

“This is my son!” Jennifer revealed to the other coaches and audience.

“Hop in my chair! If you like somebody, you tell Mommy. You say ‘Mommy! Hit the button!’ and we're going to spin around,” she said.

However David took some persuading to hit the button, with Jennifer encouraging: "You don’t want to spin around? David!”

Little David is the son of Jennifer and her fiancé, WWE wrestler David Otunga, who have been together since 2008.

The Voice UK 2017 continues live tonight on ITV at 8:30PM with the semi-finals of the competition.
