Earlier in the evening, the six acts in Gavin's team took to the stage one at a time to perform.
First up was Gavin's steal Diamond who performed Wonder by Naughty Boy Ft. Emeli Sande before Sarah Morgan took to the stage with I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.
Carter was next up, singing Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel while Truly Ford performed Million Reasons by Lady Gaga.
Max Vickers belted out Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor by Arctic Monkeys leaving Keziah Rodell to close the show with Trouble by Coldplay.
After the performances followed a short public vote.
In the results, host Emma Willis first announced the two acts with the most public votes which were - in no particular order - Max and Sarah, going straight into the live finals.
Gavin then had the power to pick a third finalist from his remaining four, selecting Truly to join Max and Sarah in the final.
