Danny-Boy Hatchard will become Elton John on Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief tonight.
Let’s Dance For Comic Relief is back for Red Nose Day 2017, now bigger and better than ever before as it has been supersized into Let’s Sing And Dance For Comic Relief.
This year will see celebrities donning more fantastic outfits and learning more iconic dance routines for Comic Relief, but this time the brave celebrities will be facing double the challenge – dancing and singing!
This week is the second of three heats and EastEnder Danny-Boy Hatchard will take on the legend that is Elton John and perform his iconic hit I’m Still Standing.
Danny-Boy said: “Absolutely buzzing to have a little sing and dance for Comic Relief. No man, woman or child should ever have to go without food and water. I'm just doing my bit so let’s have fun and encourage people to pick up those phones and get dialling!”
He'll perform on the show this evening alongside mega group of 90s and noughties ex boy band stars, now known as Boys Allowed, The Chasers; the cast of Casualty and Holby City and former Strictly pro dancers James and Ola Jordan.
Meanwhile, Claudia Winkleman, Adil Ray as ‘Citizen Khan’ and Russell Kane join the star-studded judging panel to give their comments on the performances.
As well as all that, there will be some very special guests before the results are revealed.
As always, the public will vote for their favourite and the celeb with the most votes will go straight into the final. The judges will then pick their favourite from the next two most popular celebs in the public poll.
Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief 2017 will air on BBC One from this Saturday night at 6:45PM.
The show continues Saturday nights until the final at the end of the month.
