Girls Aloud 'reunite for Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief tonight.

It's heat two of this year's charity contest and one act performing for a spot on the final will be Boys Allowed.

The group is made up of Gareth Gates, Duncan James, Jon Lee, Ritchie Neville and Ben Ofoedu and they will perform the single Biology by one of the UK’s most successful female pop groups, Girls Aloud, after coaching from Kimberley Walsh.

Gareth Gates said, “I’m so excited to being involved with Comic Relief again. In 2003 I had the honour of performing the official single Spirit In The Sky and they also put me in a bath of baked beans!

"This time I’m dressing up as a woman! It’s going to be a fantastic performance, I can’t wait to get those high heels on and raise loads of money for such a fantastic cause! You have to tune in!”

Jon Lee added: “I’m so excited to be working with these guys on this performance, it’s going to be lots of fun and it's all for a great cause. Girls Aloud also happen to be one of my favourite groups too so bring on the heels….”

Duncan James said: “I’m so excited to be taking part in Let’s Sing And Dance For Comic Relief! It’s such a great cause and looking forward to wearing heels again, which I haven’t done since my injury. It should be like riding a bike….I hope.”

Ritchie Neville commented: “I'm slightly concerned about quite how much I'm looking forward to this to be honest. Not that dancing in heels won't be a challenge as my name isn't Rachel on weekends regardless of what you might have heard. But with it being for such a great cause it's a win win. Look out Cheryl and Kimberly and co, Boys Allowed are coming for you!”

Ben Ofoedu said, “So looking forward to taking part in Lets Sing And Dance For Comic Relief, I always wanted to channel my inner Ru Paul and now I have the perfect excuse! Oh maybe that's a little too much information! Haha!”

They'll perform on the show this weekend alongside Strictly's James and Ola Jordan, The Chasers; the cast of Casualty and Holby City and EastEnders' actor Danny-Boy Hatchard.

Meanwhile, Claudia Winkleman, Adil Ray as ‘Citizen Khan’ and Russell Kane join the star-studded judging panel, plus there will be some very special guests before the results are revealed.

Let's Sing And Dance 2017 airs this Saturday night at 6:45PM live on BBC One.
