Former MP Lembit Opik is hoping to take part in Big Brother this summer.
He's revealed plans to reunite with ex-fiancee Gabriela Irimia, one half of singing duo The Cheeky Girls.
It was reported last week that the twins could be set to take part in BBUK on Channel 5 this year.
Gabriela and twin sister Monica Irimia rose to fame after their iconic audition on ITV show Popstars: The Rivals back in 2002.
Although they didn't come close to winning the series, the pair went on to release a number of singles with four top ten hits.
Now they're supposedly in "advanced talks" to join the Big Brother line up in the summer.
“There is massive interest in the girls and they know how much the nation love them," a source told The Sun newspaper. “Show bosses think this could be the best year yet and the pairs theme is already shaping up nicely.
“Gabriela and Monica have never done Big Brother—they’ve been waiting for the right moment.”
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Lembit opened up on his hopes of reuniting with former wife-to-be Gabriela to sort out their "unfinished business"
"It would be great to see them again, even if millions of people are watching my private reunion," he told the newspaper. “I might hope to have a couple of off-the-record chats in front of the nation."
Former I'm A Celebrity star Lembit added: “There’s unfinished business between any two people who have as intense a relationship as I did with Gabriela. In some ways, that’s what I’d like to find out.
“Maybe Big Brother would give us the chance to sort a few things out.”
Big Brother will air on Channel 5 this summer.
