Former X Factor contestant Jamie Miller has made it into The Voice UK grand finals

Jamie took part in Simon Cowell’s ITV show in 2016 but was never seen on TV.

Now he’s on The Voice UK and through to the live semi finals on Jennifer Hudson's team.

Jamie performed Let It Go for the coaches back in the blind auditions and got both Gavin Rossdale and Jennifer to spin for him, choosing to join Team Jennifer.

Jamie said: “I really respect Gavin for turning, but I always wanted to go with Jennifer. I’ve followed her journey since American Idol.

“She’s really hands on and she cares about me as an artist. It’s so nice that someone with Jennifer's success believes in you, its put my confidence up. “

Speaking about his past attempt on The X Factor, Jamie said this last month: “I tried out for The X Factor last year and I didn’t get on TV, so being on The Voice now is amazing.

“Maybe I just wasn’t what they were looking for. But I didn’t give up, everything happens for a reason.”

And he concluded: “I’m not in this for the fame, I’m in it for the love of music.”

Last weekend saw Jamie perform live in the Voice UK semi-final, winning a spot in Jennifer's final team after winning the penultimate public vote.

He's now one of four acts left in the competition, competing for the win this weekend.

The Voice UK 2017's live show conclude this Saturday AND Sunday night on ITV with the two part final.
