Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief 2017's first results are in and here's who's in the final!
Fronted by Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, the new series returned to BBC One tonight for its first of three heats.
And it was duo Rickie Haywood Williams & Melvin Odoom and Sara Pascoe who made the Let's Sing and Dance final in the first results of the series.
Let's Dance last aired in 2013 but returned this evening as celebrities squeezed into more fantastic outfits and learn more iconic dance routines for Comic Relief, but this time the brave celebrities will be facing double the challenge – dancing and singing!
The performing celebs were judged by a the first guest panel of top TV personalities, Frank Skinner, Katherine Ryan and Jo Brand, but it was the viewers who decided the top performers.
Performing on tonight's show were Astrologer Russell Grant who belted out Chain Reaction by Diana Ross while Stand-up comedian and actress Sara Pascoe performed Chandelier by Sia.
Actresses Harriet Thorpe and Helen Lederer danced and sung to Dancing Queen by ABBA while Matt Edmondson became Nicki Minaj to sing Superbass.
Finally, Rickie Haywood Williams and Melvin Odoom put on quite the show with a medley of Will Smith’s biggest music hits.
Let's Sing and Dance for Comic Relief 2017 results
In the results show, the top three were revealed as Sara, Matt and Rickie & Melvin.
Hosts Mel and Sue then announced that Rickie & Melvin were the winners and were straight through to the final.
Matt and Sara then faced the judges' vote to determine which would join Rickie & Melvin in the final.
Jo Brand backed Sara whereas Frank Skinner supported Matt leaving Katherine Ryan with the deciding vote, picking Sara who therefore made the final.
