The Voice UK favourite Mo Adeniran feeling the pressure ahead of the knockouts

The Voice UK 2017 goes live tonight and favourite to win Mo Adeniran is feeling the pressure.

This evening sees the first of four rounds of knockouts and Mo will be one of the contestants entering the spotlight.

Team Jennifer Hudson will take centre stage and we'll be saying goodbye to half of them as just three finalists are chosen for the live finals.

Every act from the team will head out to face the coaches, one by one performing what they hope is a killer song to get them through to the live shows.

All the coaches will have something to say before - for the first time in The Voice UK history at this stage - viewers vote.

The public will pick two to make it to the final leaving that team's coach to select a third finalist from the four remaining acts in their team.

Speaking ahead of tonight's show, Mo said he felt no added pressure from his position as bookies' favourite but revealed: "I think everyone's feeling the same pressure.

"I'm excited, very excited... I'm nervous but nerves are part of the process, it's about how you deal with it."

His coach Jennifer said: "Nobody knows more than me how important this is to them, I refuse to let them down.

"I want to set them in the best way possible set them up however it is and then also reassure them in their own confidence and trusting their own artistry.

"The last thing you wan to do is to walk away feeling you didn't own your own thing."

The Voice UK airs live tonight at 8:30PM on ITV and continues Sunday night at 7:45PM.
