Ferne McCann has caused a right stir on tonight's Celebs Go Dating.

The TOWIE star is one of the latest batch of celebs signed up to the E4 series and looking for love.

Other stars on this year's show are TOWIE's Joey Essex, former Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, American reality star Jonathan Cheban, Diversity's Perri Kiely, Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton and Ex On The Beach and Celebrity Big Brother's Stephen Bear.

This evening's show saw Ferne hit a singles mixer after a string of flop dates.

Her actions around one guy called Lee had viewers (and even the dating agents) feeling she was totally losing it.

Ferne was seen telling Lee how much she loved him just moments after meeting before then investigating his phone for pictures.

She later told the agents a wedding could be on the cards, telling them to buy a hat.

"So far, Ferne has come across as desperate and rude. Two of the worst traits! #CelebsGoDating" one viewer wrote.

Another posted on Twitter: "Did ferne really just ask to look at his Instagram?! Wtf is wrong with her?! #TurnOff #CelebsGoDating"

A third quipped: "Ferne will know his ex's name, DOT, nationality, location, how many pets she's got, the name of her Gran by their first date #CelebsGoDating"

A fourth added: "Fern is actually scary, her crazy eyes are SHINING! #CelebsGoDating"

"whoa Ferne slow it down a bit youve not even been on a date with the guy and your talking future husband! #CelebsGoDating" another shocked fan wrote online.

A sixth said: "Psycho Ferne. She is a prime example of why men think girls are crazy #CelebsGoDating"

Ferne has so far had a bit of a bad time on the show, last week being branded a gold digger by viewers.

On Twitter, some fans of the show called Ferne a "gold digger" after leaving one bloke to pay a £170 bill after a failed date.

"I'm not a gold digger. Just traditional & think the guy should pay for a 1st date. I ALWAYS offer...clearly didn't make the edit," Ferne hit back.
