The Voice UK 2017 battle rounds are here on ITV with the show back next Saturday AND Sunday.
It’s the start of The Battles on The Voice and coaches will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale take their teams to world famous Abbey Road Studios in London to be paired up to do battle and sing for their place in the competition.
As the acts go head to head, doing battle in the studio those that impress their coach remain in the competition with a chance of winning a recording contract with Polydor Records. Will those that aren’t so lucky get stolen by the other coaches or will they be going home?
The format is simple: Each coach will pair up their acts in a series of musical sing-offs. After each performance, their coach alone will decide the winner who will go in to the knockout rounds.
As for the loser, they have the chance to be stolen by the three other coaches and move teams, however each coach can only steal a certain number of acts - typically one or two.
Acts who don't get stolen will be out of the competition for good while those that won their battles or were stolen go through to the knockout rounds, just one stage away from the live finals.
The first half of The Voice UK 2017 battle rounds will air Saturday night, 25th February at 8:30PM.
The second half will be back on ITV on Sunday night at 7PM, with both episodes running for two hours.
