Show seven of this year's series saw hopeful Abi Phillips hoping to win over the coaches with a performance of Little Big Town's Girl Crush.
The 22-year-old from the West Midlands appeared on Channel 4's Hollyoaks between 2010 up until 2013 where her character Liberty Savage was written out.
Abi revealed she was ready to move away from her soapland character and step into the spotlight as herself. Abi left the show to pursue her musical dreams and armed with her guitar she was ready to show the Coaches what she’s made of.
"One day I was doing my GCSEs and the next I’m on Hollyoaks – I just wasn’t expecting it at all," Abi admitted about landing her TV role.
“I really enjoyed Hollyoaks and really did appreciate it but I didn’t love it as much as my music," she said ahead of her audition. “And I kind of felt like it was time to try and do the thing I really love doing.
“I’ve been working so hard to do my music for such a long time."
Unfortunately for Abi, none of the coaches turned for her.
The coaches will.i.am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Gavin Rossdale were still on the hunt for the best singers for their teams but free spots in the next round had been quickly dwindling.
After six weeks of try outs, Teams Jennifer, Gavin and Tom each had just one free space while Team Will had two places to fill from the latest batch of hopefuls.
Emma Willis was back to host the final round of blind auditions on Saturday night as the four coaches completed their teams.
They needed at least one coach to turn to make it, although if more than one coach spins they then have the power to pick which team to join.
The Voice UK 2017 continues Saturday night on ITV.
