The Jump 2017 celebs are out to take Spencer Matthews down in the Snow Cross

It's the snow cross event on The Jump 2017 tonight and Spencer Matthews should be on the look out.

Host Davina McCall has claimed that his 'cocky' attitude has seen the Made In Chelsea star become the prime target in the typically nasty discipline.

Groups of celebs will battle it down a course in order to be first over the line, and things often get physical as the stars fight for pole position.

Revealing what the atmosphere was like behind the scenes, Davina told Good Morning Britain ahead of tonight's live show: "It seems Spencer Matthews truly believes he can win every discipline - although he didn't last week.

"They just want to take him down.

"I wouldn't want to be Spencer Matthews."

Speaking about the 'brutal' Snow Cross, Davina continued: "They are going down on ski boots with flat bottoms and they are going up and down.

"Some are really fast and they can bump into each other and try to take each other out.

"You would not want to be stuck with our two rugby guys - can you imagine being stuck between Gareth and Jason? That would just be so frightening."

Those who lose out on the snow cross will have to face The Jump live on the night where one more celeb will be eliminated.

Big Brother housemate Josie Gibson was the first to leave the competition last week after refusing to complete the jump, forfeiting her place in the show.

The Jump 2017 airs live tonight at 7:30PM on Channel 4.
